How to Use Esaalat

Before the step by step setup, here is the whole picture so every step below has a purpose. Esaalat verifies wallet payments for you automatically:

1. 1You create a payment order with the exact amount your customer should pay.
2. 2Your customer transfers that amount to your wallet from their wallet app.
3. 3They enter the transaction reference shown by their wallet on your payment page.
4. 4The wallet sends a confirmation SMS to your phone. The Esaalat app reads it and forwards it to the platform.
5. 5The platform matches the message with your order by reference and amount, and marks the payment verified.

Everything starts with a free account. You only need an email address.

1. 1Go to esaalat.com and press Register Your Account for Free.
2. 2Enter your email and choose a password. Complete the security check on the form.
3. 3Open the verification email we send you and confirm your address. Check the spam folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes.
4. 4Complete the short onboarding steps: your business details, location and preferences.
5. 5You land in your dashboard. Create your business account if you have not already, and you are ready.

Esaalat runs on simple monthly plans. Every new account starts on the Starter plan with a 14 day free trial.

• Starter, Growth and Enterprise are fixed monthly plans in YER. A Custom plan is available for larger needs through sales.
• The trial lasts 14 days on the Starter plan. You can set up wallets, devices and test payments during it.
• To subscribe or renew, open the Subscriptions tab, choose a plan and pay through the checkout page: transfer the plan amount to one of Esaalat's wallets and enter the reference. The plan activates as soon as the payment is verified.
• When a plan expires you get a 3 day grace period, then monitoring pauses. Your data, wallets and history stay intact and everything resumes the moment you renew.
• Plans can be upgraded anytime. They are never downgraded automatically, so contact support if you ever need a lower plan.

A wallet account is the wallet number you receive money on. Add every wallet you want Esaalat to monitor.

2. 2Press Add Wallet and choose the provider from the supported list.
3. 3Give the wallet a name you recognize, for example Main Store or Cashier 1.
4. 4Enter the wallet's account number exactly as it appears in your wallet app.
5. 5Press add. The wallet appears in your list with its provider logo and number.

Esaalat verifies payments through a small Android app installed on the phone that holds your wallet's SIM cards.

1. 1Use any Android phone. A basic, inexpensive phone is enough, and many merchants dedicate one to monitoring.
2. 2Install the Esaalat app and open it.
3. 3Grant the SMS permission when asked. The app needs it to read incoming wallet confirmations.
4. 4Read and accept the disclosure screen.
5. 5Keep the phone connected to the internet and let the app run in the background.

• The app stays asleep and uses no battery. It wakes for a moment only when a wallet confirmation message arrives, forwards it, and sleeps again.
• It listens only to the sender numbers of the wallets you configured in your dashboard, and only while the monitoring switch is on.
• It never reads other messages, never collects data, and never touches your wallet credentials or your money.

A device is the phone running the app. You link it to your account with a one time registration code.

1. 1Open the Devices tab in your dashboard.
2. 2Press Add Device, give the device a name you recognize, and pick the wallets it should monitor.
3. 3Generate the code. One code covers every wallet you selected.
4. 4Copy the code. It is valid for 30 minutes.
5. 5In the app, enter the code on the registration screen and press Link Device.
6. 6The app connects, downloads your wallets and the monitoring switch becomes available.

Open the Wallets tab in the app and tap a wallet to open its details. Two things live there.

• Sender name: the wallet's default sender, defined on the platform and read only here. This is the source the app listens to for this wallet.
• SIM slot: choose which SIM card in the phone holds this wallet's SIM. Auto lets the app decide, or pick SIM 1 or SIM 2 explicitly when you use two SIMs.

The home screen of the app is your live view. Everything happens here.

4. 4Watch the order flip to Verified in your dashboard the moment the wallet message arrives.

• Monitoring switch: the black card at the top. Turn it on to start listening. It needs the SMS permission and an active plan, and the radar icon spins while monitoring is active.
• Banners: the app warns you when the SMS permission is missing, when your subscription needs renewal, or when your device token expired and you must re-link.
• Recent Activity: search by reference, filter by a specific wallet, and switch between the All, Pending and Sent tabs.
• Activity rows: each row shows the reference, the amount and the provider logo with a small cloud badge. Green means the message reached Esaalat, red means it is still queued or failed.
• Tap any row for details: provider, amount, full date and the complete reference, which you can copy. Pending entries can be deleted, which cancels their queued send.
• The list loads 20 entries at a time with a Show More button. Pull down to refresh. The Plans tab shows your plan, its expiry and the link to manage it in the dashboard.

The payment page and the dashboard together close the loop. Here is the full lifecycle of an order.

4. 4The wallet SMS arrives at your monitoring phone, the app forwards it, and the platform matches reference and amount.
5. 5The order becomes Verified. Revenue statistics and webhooks update automatically.

Every account includes a dedicated test wallet, isolated from your real wallets and statistics, so you can try everything without risking real money.

• Find it in the Test Wallet tab next to SDK and API Reference.
• Turn the switch on and set a sender name of your choice. That is the number you will send test messages from.
• A sample message is shown on the page, and payments to the test wallet always appear as matched in its table.
• Webhooks fire for test payments exactly like real ones, so you can verify your integration end to end.
• We recommend creating a dedicated testing device, trying the flow, and only then switching to your real wallets.

When you want to create orders and verify payments from your own website or app, use the Merchant REST API.

1. 1Create an API key from the API Keys tab in your dashboard. The secret is shown once, so store it safely.
2. 2Call the API to create payment intents for your orders and list the wallets you can accept on.
3. 3Direct customers to the hosted payment page, or show the wallet and amount yourself and collect the reference.
4. 4Attach the reference through the API.
5. 5Receive a signed webhook the moment the payment verifies, so your server reacts in real time.
